Two elderly men sat quietly on a bench in the park, watching people pass by on a sunny afternoon. Suddenly, a young woman jogged past them in a sports bra and tiny shorts, drawing their attention. One of the men couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
“Why are you staring at me and grinning, you pervert?” the girl quipped, noticing the old man’s smile.
The old man, with a twinkle in his eye, replied gently, “My dear, I’m not smiling at you. I’m smiling at the thought that no matter how bad the world gets, there will always be young, pretty girls in the summer to cheer up a lonely old man.”
The girl softened, touched by his words. “Awww, you sweet old man,” she said, leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek before jogging off.
The old man turned to his friend with a satisfied grin. “Three to zip, mugley. Your turn,” he teased, nudging his friend playfully.
